I am really happy to celebrate First Responder Day.
I am especially happy to celebrate Chelsea Fire & Rescue who responded to my own son's medical emergency last week and handled his care with such professionalism and compassion. Thanks to you and all of the other professionals that provide pre-hospital healthcare in Alabama and Northwest Florida.

Being a first responder requires tremendous courage. Daily, you face challenges that test your mental, physical and emotional strength. Your commitment to serving others demands a willingness to sacrifice everything. First responders embody true heroism. Today, and every day, we celebrate and thank you!

I'll be participating in the Industry Leadership panel at the Alabama EMS Conference on Nov 7-10 in Orange Beach.
The conference organizers would love to know what issues you'd like to see discussed and any questions you'd like to have answered pertaining to the EMS industry.
My particular area of expertise is centered around supply chain management, new technologies, trends in equipment and supplies, EMS advocacy, disaster response, pharmaceutical issues, inventory control, and generally making life easier for the EMS professionals that I work with.
