Today, our amazing staff proudly wore purple to help raise awareness for Alzheimer’s and honor all those living with this heartbreaking disease. 💜

Behind every memory is a person who deserves to be loved, respected, and remembered. Our residents may forget names, faces, or moments, but they will never forget how we made them feel. 🥹💜

We wear purple not only to spread awareness, but to stand beside our residents, their families, and everyone whose lives have been touched by Alzheimer’s. Every smile, every hug, every story shared, and every moment we create matters. 🫶🏼

We are so proud of our incredible team for showing up with compassion, love, and a whole lot of purple! 💜

🎃👻 Calling all Halloween Heroes! 🍬🧡

Our sweet residents are getting ready for a very special Halloween! They would LOVE to pass out candy to all the little goblins and ghouls, Barbies and Spider-Mans, elephants and T-Rexes that come knocking on our door! 🦖🐘🕷️👸🎃

We are asking our amazing friends, family, and community for Halloween candy donations to help make Halloween extra special for our residents. 🍫🍭🍬

Every bag of candy, big or small, will help put a smile on our residents' faces as they get to see all the adorable costumes and share some Halloween treats! 🥰

Our residents had an absolute blast hitting the lanes today! From friendly competition to lots of laughs and cheers, it was a day full of smiles, teamwork, and great memories. Watching everyone encourage each other and celebrate every spare and strike made our hearts so happy ❤️

Chinook Place Assisted Living and Memory Care, Madras OR had some visitors with the National Junior Honor Society Students from the Jefferson County Middle School. .

Students organized a bingo game and gave out candy bars as prizes. 🍫 They also shared lunch with residents which allowed them to sit down and talk and connect with them. 🤲🏼

Students set a goal to make a new friend and were challenged to bring back one piece of advice from that person. The advice they shared afterward was both funny and thoughtful, making the experience memorable for everyone. 🙌🏼

It was a great field trip that built empathy and community!
