We’re excited to announce that Porch Rockers (formerly Whiskey Road) will take the stage TONIGHT: Wednesday, August 12th at 6:30 PM at the Kent Field Pavilion!

After being postponed earlier this summer, we’re thrilled to finally bring the Porch Rockers to Glocester for an evening of live music.

🎭 The Kent Field Pavilion will look a little different this week! 🎭

Our friends from Swamp Meadow Community Theatre are transforming the pavilion into the magical world of William Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream!

Beginning Wednesday, you’ll notice scenery and stage pieces being installed in the pavilion. The pavilion remains a public space and is still open for community use, but we kindly ask everyone to be respectful of the set, and equipment that have been carefully prepared for this production. Your cooperation will help ensure everything is ready for opening night!

Whether you’re a longtime Shakespeare fan or simply looking for a fun summer outing, this colorful production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream promises an afternoon or evening of laughter, romance, magic, and unforgettable characters.

Thank you for your flexibility this week as we share the pavilion with our community theatre partners. We hope you’ll stop by to enjoy the show and support local performing arts!

📢 MORNING PROGRAM UPDATE Thursday July 30

While it’s a bit overcast this morning, the chance of rain remains low(-ish) and we’re ready to get the day underway!

✅ All morning programs are ON as scheduled:

* 🏃 Summer Running Program

We’ll continue to keep an eye on the weather throughout the day, but as of now, we’re looking forward to a great morning of activities.

Due to the continued poor weather forecast, tonight’s, July 29, Summer Concert featuring Brass Attack has been postponed.

The concert has been rescheduled for:

We know many of you were looking forward to another great evening of music, but the forecast simply isn’t cooperating. We appreciate your understanding and hope you’ll join us on August 19 for what promises to be a fantastic performance by Brass Attack.

Due to the current rain and the forecast for continued wet weather, we are canceling the following morning programs:

The safety of our participants and staff is always our top priority, and today’s conditions will not allow us to safely hold these activities.

EVENING PROGRAM UPDATE – Tuesday July 22

After closely monitoring today’s forecast, we’re going to soldier on with this evening’s programs.

The latest forecast indicates that the rain should taper off around 5:30 PM, with another round not expected until later tonight. While we’ll continue to monitor conditions, we’re optimistic that we’ll have a good window for our evening activities.

MORNING PROGRAM UPDATE – Wednesday July 22

Due to wet court conditions, this morning’s 8:30 AM Competitive Play Tennis session has been canceled to allow the courts additional time to dry.

The good news is that we expect to resume our regular schedule beginning with the 9:00 AM.
