Library Friends, we've got another super exciting event coming your way! We're really stoked about combining two of our favorite things!! In partnership with Salt Crystal Apothic, we're presenting "Sip and Stitch". Join us on Saturday, August 1, from 10:00 am to 12:00 for a variety of herbal teas and the needlework of your choice! Want to learn to spin, crochet, knit or weave? We'll have experts to help you get started. Don't have the gear? We'll have some here for you to play with. We can do needlework and sip some awesome tea and just have a great time. All ages are welcome. Please join us, we'd love to see you.

Library Friends!! We are offering an exciting new learning opportunity. Beginning on Saturday, August 8th at 11:00, we will be offering a class in ASL (American Sign Language). We will begin by learning how to sign the Pledge of Allegiance and the Star Spangled Banner. Our instructor is Mary Lynch. This class is for ALL AGES, so bring the whole crew. Pre registration is not necessary and this class is free! Please come by and check it out, we'd love to see you!

We're back and ready to read!! Yesterday's event in Beaver went very well and we hope to have some new attendees at our Thursday Sit and Stitch sessions in the near future. Special thanks to Grace Wessels for her invaluable help! If you sew, knit, crochet, embroider, weave, spin or just sit with a needle and thread in your hands, we'd love to see you! Even if you just want to learn, we've got plenty of talented needleworkers to help you start your hobby. Come by the Library at 1 this afternoon and we'll get stitchin'!!

We still don’t have water, and it’s getting uncomfortable for us. If we don’t have water by 3:00, the library will be closing for the day.
