HF 2739 just passed the Iowa House. If this bill becomes law, the tax on health insurance premiums will nearly quadruple, raising costs on Iowa families and employers.

Now it heads to the Senate. Call Senator Lynn Evans at 515-654-5140 and tell them to vote NO on SF 2464 and HF 2739. Your voice matters. Help stop this tax hike before it reaches the Governor's desk.

Today we passed SF572 which bans Russia, North Korea and China from owning hospitals and care facilities in Iowa.

I had an amendment adding meatpacking facilities to the bill. House Republicans voted it down to continue to allow China to own 1 in 4 hogs in this country.

BREAKING: Randy Feenstra, Ashley Hinson, Mariannette Miller-Meeks, and Zach Nunn just had the chance to end tariffs on Canada and provide relief for Iowa farmers as the ag economy continues to struggle.

All four decided to bow to Trump’s threats and protect their reelection campaigns instead.
