🐾💚 Popsicles with Principal Burgess! 💚🐾

Yesterday, our incoming kindergarteners had a chance to meet their Teachers and Principal Burgess, check out a bus 🚌, make some new friends, explore the playground, and enjoy a popsicle before their big first day! 🍦🛝

It was wonderful seeing so many new Bulldog families come together and giving our newest students a chance to get a little more comfortable at Bret Harte before school begins.

A big thank you to Principal Burgess and the Kindergarten Teachers for spending the afternoon welcoming our kindergarteners, and to all of the families who joined us!

Tomorrow is the big day — welcome to Bret Harte, little Bulldogs! 🎒✏️📚

Stop by the school and leave a positive message, drawing, or words of encouragement on the sidewalk. 🌟 The 4–6 PM timeframe isn’t strict. Feel free to come by whenever it works for your family!

The most important thing is filling the walkways with kindness, encouragement, and Bulldog pride for our students and staff to see as they arrive for the first day of school. 💚🤍

🐾💚 Welcome Back, Bret Harte Teachers & Staff! 💚🐾

We were so excited to welcome our amazing teachers and staff back to Harte with a little Panera breakfast and sweets to help kick off the new school year! ☕🥯🍩

And because we know our teachers need to be PREPARED FOR ANYTHING, everyone also received a few back-to-school essentials from the PTA to help tackle the year ahead! 📓✨

We hope breakfast made the first days back just a little sweeter. Thank you to our incredible Bret Harte teachers and staff for everything you do to make our school such a special place for our kids. We’re looking forward to a fantastic 2026–2027 school year! 💚🤍
