Please join us in congratulating Captain Sheldon Bryant, who was voted by his own classmates to receive the Franklin M. Kreml Leadership Award, recognizing the professionalism, leadership, and respect he demonstrated throughout the course.

Captain Bryant earned the honor upon graduating from the Northwestern University School of Police Staff and Command, a nationally recognized program hosted by the Philadelphia Police Department. From January through May 2026, the course brought together law enforcement leaders from across the region to study leadership, organizational management, and the challenges facing modern policing.

Developing strong leaders is one of the most important investments a department can make. Cherry Hill is proud to support the professional and executive growth of its officers, because the quality of our leadership directly shapes the quality of service our community receives.

Our thanks to Northwestern University and the Philadelphia Police Department for their continued investment in public safety leadership.

🐾🎉 Happy 13th Birthday, Retired K9 Mai 🎉🐾

The Cherry Hill Police Department would like to wish a very happy 13th birthday to Retired K9 Mai.

K9 Mai served the Cherry Hill community with dedication alongside her handler, Sergeant Amato, contributing to public safety through years of service, training, and commitment to the department’s K9 Unit. Her work helped support officers in the field and remains an important part of our department’s history.

Retirement may look a little different these days, but K9 Mai continues to hold a special place in the hearts of our officers and community. We invite everyone to join us in wishing her a happy birthday and thanking her for her years of service.

Happy birthday, Mai. Thank you for your service, loyalty, and the lasting impact you made on Cherry Hill.

🐾🚓 Police Club at Cherry Hill East 🚓🐾

Officer Carmolingo and K9 C**t were featured during the most recent Police Club meeting at Cherry Hill High School East.

Students had the opportunity to learn about the important role K9 teams play in law enforcement and see K9 C**t in action. The demonstration highlighted the teamwork, training, trust, and dedication required between an officer and their K9 partner.

Police Club gives students a behind-the-scenes look at different areas of law enforcement while helping build positive relationships between officers and students. This session also showed how K9 teams support public safety operations and assist officers in the field.

Thank you to the students and staff at Cherry Hill East for welcoming us and continuing to support programs that strengthen connections between law enforcement and our schools.
