๐Ÿ“š๐ŸšŒ Back to School | Drive Safe ๐ŸšŒ๐Ÿ“š

The new school year is just around the corner, which means more students, school buses, pedestrians, and traffic on our roads.

As everyone gets back into their routines, remember to be patient, stay alert, and drive responsibly, especially in and around school zones.

๐ŸšŒ Give school buses plenty of space and never pass a stopped school bus when its red lights are flashing.
๐Ÿšธ Watch for students crossing streets and entering or exiting vehicles.
๐Ÿš— Slow down and follow posted speed limits, especially in school zones.
๐Ÿ“ฑ Stay focused and keep your attention on the road.

A few extra seconds of patience can make a difference. Letโ€™s work together to make sure our students, families, and school staff get where they need to go safely.

Thank you for doing your part to help keep Cherry Hillโ€™s roads and schools safe.

A Busy Morning in Our Community

It was a busy morning for the Cherry Hill Police Department as our officers had the opportunity to connect with members of the community in two different settings.

We started the morning at Paris Baguette for Coffee with a Cop, where members of our department, along with Mayor Fleisher, spent time chatting with residents, answering questions, and sharing a cup of coffee. We appreciate everyone who stopped by and took the time to connect with us.

Later in the morning, Officer Camburn and Officer Walker visited WildChild Daycare, where they met with families and spent time with the children and staff. Opportunities like these allow our officers to build positive relationships with some of our youngest community members and their families.

Whether over a cup of coffee or a visit with our youngest residents, these interactions help strengthen relationships and create meaningful connections beyond calls for service.

A special thank you to Paris Baguette and WildChild Daycare for welcoming our officers and helping create opportunities to connect with the Cherry Hill community.

โ˜•๐Ÿš“ Upcoming Coffee with a Cop | Tomorrow, August 26 ๐Ÿš“โ˜•

Just a reminder that our next Coffee with a Cop is tomorrow morning from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Paris Baguette, located at 951 Haddonfield Road.

Stop by, grab a cup of coffee, and spend some time chatting with members of the Cherry Hill Police Department. Whether you have a question, want to share a thought or concern, or simply want to meet the people behind the badge, weโ€™d love to see you.

Thereโ€™s no formal agenda, just coffee, conversation, and an opportunity to connect with our officers in a relaxed setting.

A special thank you to Paris Baguette for hosting us and helping create another opportunity for our department and community to connect.
