Earlier this week I joined Commissioner Jennifer Fleisher and Clerk Pam Lampitt at Senior Bingo in a Lawnside. We enjoyed spending the afternoon with residents, sharing laughs and celebrating some lucky winners. Thank you to everyone who joined us for another fun day together!

Earlier this week, I joined Commissioner Jon Young and Deputy Director Ed McDonnell in welcoming families to the Camden County Environmental Center for the Summer Open House!

Residents had the opportunity to meet some amazing creatures, explore the center, and get a preview of the exciting programs and activities coming this summer.

Thank you to our Parks Department and disABILITIES team for creating fun, inclusive opportunities for residents of all ages. We look forward to another great summer at the Environmental Center!

This morning, we had the honor of welcoming Vietnam veteran and former Prisoner of War Captain David Drummond to Camden County for a truly powerful and inspiring conversation.

After his aircraft was shot down over Hanoi in 1972, Captain Drummond endured months as a prisoner of war before returning home in 1973. His story is one of resilience, sacrifice, and an unwavering commitment to our country. Today, we were grateful to hear firsthand about his experiences and the lessons they continue to teach us about courage and perseverance.

Thank you to everyone who joined us this morning and to our Office of Veterans Affairs for helping make this meaningful event possible. We owe an incredible debt of gratitude to veterans like Captain Drummond who sacrificed so much in service to our nation. 🇺🇸
