On my first visit to China in 2010 I had the great fortune to be able to visit the historical home of Lao Tsu. An astonishingly beautiful spot for meditation in the quiet gardens. I wandered through the many standing stones carved with words from the master philosopher and thinker. Among them was this, one of my favorites…Powerful ideas and formidable non-action providing no resistance, only flow. This is a hard human lesson, but once understood, is phenomenal in application.

Can anyone help identify this lilac? It has the most complex lilac perfume of almost any lilac. It rivals Saugeana for complexity, and strength. I need about a dozen of these.

Sweet Pea seed varieties from Luna Seed exhibiting an excellent germination rate! I am so excited to smell the blossoms. Because it stays so cool here in the NW maritime, I’m hoping to see these blossoms extend into September which will make incredibly potent pomades; An enfleuragist’s dream. After sweet pea pomade harvest I will soak the pomade in alcohol and coax out the essence. If I can make several rounds of pomade there will be enough of the essence to bottle. I will update on the progress over the summer months on my YouTube channel with a video or two and in our monthly video meetings.
