On Wednesday, May, 20th, Mrs. Benson and Mr. Rhodes brought sophomores and juniors from CV-S to Siena College in Albany for “Career Jam.” The students explored local career pathways through hands-on activities and demonstrations while networking with a number of colleges and businesses that are hiring locally. Students met with representatives from Lincoln Technical Institute, the SUNY system, Siena College, as well as the NYS DOT, and businesses such as C.S. Arch, STS Steel, INC., and Global Foundries. Afterwards, the students enjoyed lunch at Chic-fil-A restaurant. It was a productive and rewarding trip!
