A very huge Thank You to the Minnesota Firefighter Foundation for coming to our hall today to award us new hoods for all of our members and for going the extra mile and making them in honor of Tia Muller, our firefighter that was tragically killed in an ATV accident last fall. These hoods will help keep our members safe not only in Fire scenes, but also protect us from the cancer causing carcinogens from structure fires.

Clinton Township Fire and EMS is very grateful for the large community response to the fire at Holmes Recycling today. Rural departments need to shuttle water in to fight fires, so we rely on mutual aid when the need arises. We were able to get water from the IRRRB and United Taconite Forbes Plant, Clinton and Cherry Fire Departments, as well as a nearby river.

Couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful October day for fire prevention at the Cherry School! The kids were incredibly respectful and we had so much fun teaching them about our trucks and what we do for our community. A special thank you to Virginia Fire Department, Gilbert Fire department, and Clinton Fire Department for helping us out today. It was so appreciated!

Words cannot express the gratitude we feel for our fellow firefighters and Fire Dept’s… Thank you all so much from the bottom of our hearts for showing up and supporting not only Tia‘s family but Tia’s Fire Dept. family.  a special shout out and Thank You to Minnesota State fire marshal‘s office, Minnesota state patrol, St. Louis County sheriff, Hibbing Police Dept, and Chisholm Police Department for assisting in traffic control for the procession. We are greatly moved by it.
