The City of Cherryvale has an opening in the Police Department for a full-time patrolman. Minimum qualifications: Current KLETC Certification or the ability to become certified. The applicant must be 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license and High School Diploma or GED Certificate. Applicant shall have no felony or serious misdemeanor convictions and be able to pass a background check, drug testing and physical examination. Full-Time salary range is $14.00 - $21.00 per hour, based on qualifications. The City of Cherryvale offers a superior benefit package, ample training opportunities, and room for advancement. The City of Cherryvale is accepting bids for the installation of HVAC services to the Cherryvale Fire Department in Cherryvale, Kansas.

The Cherryvale Fire Department will be hosting a pre-bid meeting to allow any and all interested bidders to see the work needing performed and to clarify and questions prior to submitting their bids. This bid meeting will take place on Monday, August 17th at 11:00 a.m.

Sealed bids will be accepted at the office of the City Clerk until 12:00 p.m., October 19, 2026.

The applicant must be 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license and High School Diploma or GED Certificate. Applicant must be able to pass a background check, drug testing, and physical examination. Full-time salary range is $14.50 - $19.50 per hour, based on qualifications. The City of Cherryvale offers a superior benefit package, and ample training opportunities. Working hours are Monday-Friday 8:00 am – 4:00 pm, on-call time may be required.
