The senior center is re-opening on Monday, July 12!

Open M-F 10-1. Lunch will be served Monday through Thursday.

No restrictions. Play pool, cards bingo, whatever! Just wash your hands and/or use hand sanitizer frequently.

WALKING CLUB meets every Wednesday at 8 a.m. at Showboat Park, front pavilion. Kristy Bitterman will help everyone warm up and get a great start to your day!

Attention all Chesaning area individuals 60+, the Chesaning Area Senior Association along with Young at Heart would like to know what types of programs interest you. The Saginaw County Commission on Aging & YMCA of Saginaw have received a special grant from the State of Michigan to launch a new Mobile Wellness Program this spring. Please look at the attached survey. In the comments of this post, please share your interests and what you would like to see & do. We are planning to start with outdoor activities. If you have any further questions, comments, or suggestions, please call Amy (989-845-6565), Young at Heart, if no answer, please leave a message and she will get back with you. We've been receiving Christmas cards at the center! This is only a few of them; I (Amy) took the rest to Maple Grove center to show. Thank you for keeping the center in your hearts. I also keep you in mine!

Next curbside pickup is on Wednesday, January 6 from 10-12 at Maple Grove Township Hall. Call 845-7444 and leave a message to sign up. Anyone age 60+ is eligible. Happy holidays and happy new year, and see you in January!
