Thanks to Lupe Sweeden, Jim Rhodes, Bob Brewer, Ashton Page, and David Stephenson for cooking and serving food and cleaning up at Oasis Social Ministry today. About 70 individuals were served a hot meal.

Churchland Rotarians assisted the Norfolk Rotary Club in labeling books to be distributed to all of the elementary schools by All District Reads in Norfolk in September. The Churchland Club will be sponsoring the same program in Portsmouth schools in September.

Churchland Rotarians and the Red Cross teamed up today for a blood drive at the Portsmouth YMCA. Thanks to everyone who came out and donated to this vital effort to meet the needs for blood in our community.

We would love for anyone interested in serving our community to come visit with us on Tuesday mornings at 7:30AM. We meet at 3107 American Legion Rd, Chesapeake. Hope to see you there!

Churchland Rotarians on the job preparing to serve the community at Oasis Social Ministries. We enjoyed fellowship while there preparing and serving food, sharing conversations with our guests, and even during cleanup.

Churchland Rotary celebrates the hard work and commitment Rotarian Lupe Sweeden puts forth to serve those who are in need of a nourishing, hot, healthy meal. Lupe “leads the charge” for fellow Rotarians to prepare, cook, and serve anywhere between 65 and 100 people at Oasis Social Ministries. Thanks and congratulations, Lupe!
