Intro2culinary is studying sandwich preparation with grilling, toasting, basting, tools and equipment and sandwiches from around the world-Reuben’s paninis, Philly cheesesteak, Cubans and the assembly line preparation Their budget was $10.00 to prepare 4 sandwiches with garnish. Hawk emerging chefs!

Appetizers were featured for the start of quarter 8 in introduction to culinary!!! Skills included costing, portioning, garnishes and presentation! Bruschetta, canapes, crostinis, dumplings, pinwheels, puff pastry and a french quiche! Kudos to the emerging chefs!

Today Sra.Whatley’s adaptive world language students took their passports and traveled to Spain 🇪🇸 where they learned about the Tomatina (a tomato food fight) and then we had our own with balloons!

Today, Mrs. Kapko’s Government class honored the true meaning of Memorial Day by laying a wreath in remembrance of the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. 🇺🇸❤️
