Fingers crossed that March goes out like a lamb! Get some fresh air and fun with our 7th annual South Norfolk Bridge Walk for National Start Walking Day. No registration is required, and there is no cost to walk. Just enjoy some fun in the sun. Groups, strollers, and leashed pets are welcome. Chesapeake Animal Services will also be on hand with adoptable friends to Snout and About!

7:15PM Update: This watch has been cancelled. A few showers are expected this evening, but otherwise drying out overnight. Big thanks to everyone who sent us damage reports today!

1230 pm Update: A Tornado Watch has been issued for portions of SE Virginia and NE North Carolina. The threats include a couple of tornadoes, strong damaging winds, and potential for isolated hail. While these areas are the most likely place for a tornado development, this does not mean that areas outside of this watch will not see isolated tornadoes develop along the squall line as it moves through. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect for the remainder of the forecast area. Have a safety plan in place and multiple ways to receive warnings.
