Chesapeake's Law Enforcement Explorer Post is a co-ed group of young adults between the ages of 14 and 21 interested in pursuing a career in the field of law enforcement. It is sponsored by the Boy Scouts of America and sanctioned by the Chesapeake Police Department. The group assists both the Chesapeake Crime Prevention Council (CCPC) and the Police Department with various events throughout the y
ear including Serve the City and the Jubilee. In addition to this, they also perform community service. The post meets twice a month for classes and training. Explorers are expected to maintain at least a "C" average in school and be of reputable character. Provides both practical and hands-on experience. Training
