A reminder from Kurtis Durocher Verterans' Services Officer...
Just a reminder that the Hometown Hero Banner Program is open and accepting applications.

The program honors ALL Veterans and Military Members. Those currently serving, those who have been discharged, and those who have passed away, while continuing to recognize those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

Programs are currently open in:

Adams

Cheshire

Clarksburg

Florida

North Adams

Savoy

Williamstown

In Florida, applications are being accepted, with the Selectboard scheduled to make a decision on the program at the August 26th Town Meeting.

Banners will cost approximately $125–$150, depending on the municipality and banner size. This helps cover production, maintenance, replacements, and a hardship fund.

To honor a Veteran, you will need to complete an application, provide a physical photo to be scanned, and pay for the banner.

You can also stop by the Veterans’ Services Office at North Adams City Hall.

If you have a Veteran in your family or know someone who deserves to be recognized, we encourage you to take advantage of the program. We want to see these banners throughout our communities honoring the men and women who have served our country.
