Yesterday was the 55th Annual Meeting of the Chester Historical Society! This is when members cast their vote for the board and trustees, as well as socialize, hear updates from the committees, and hear some historical stories. Thank you for sharing some history about Chester’s Main Street with us and to everyone who supports us through membership and volunteering. Today is a beautiful day in Chester and the meadow at Highlands Ridge Park is in bloom! Thank you to the Chester Borough Environmental and Open Space Committee for their initiative on restoring this meadow as habitat! The flowers can be seen from the road but if you decide to walk the trails, be sure to wear long pants and check yourself for ticks when you get home as the grass is a bit long on the trails right now.
