Chester CT Harbor Management Commission New things to come! Stay tuned! The Harbor Management Commission is a 7-member commission appointed by the Board of Selectmen.

The commission has jurisdiction over Chester’s tidal waters and intertidal waters within the boundaries of the town- know as the Chester Harbor Management Area. The commission maintains, enforces, and updates the Harbor Management Plan. They ensure accuracy and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Attention lower Connecticut River boaters!
Construction is complete and CT DEEP has reopened the Baldwin Bridge State Boat Launch in Old Saybrook. The docks have been replaced and new gangways have been installed. Thank you for your patience, and have a great boating season!!
