Step back in time and discover the vital role the New Jersey Militia played in the War for Independence! 🇺🇸

Join retired U.S. Army Colonel and military historian John Dwyer for an engaging presentation, The New Jersey Militia in the War of Independence, on
Saturday, May 30, at 12:00 PM.

Learn what militia members wore, carried, ate, and how they supported Washington’s Army during the Revolutionary War. Historical items and equipment will be displayed and passed around during the program, making this a fascinating experience for history lovers of all ages.

Children ages 10+ are welcome. Registration is required. Please register online or call the Library.
