🔥Memorial Day Chicken BBQ🔥

🚨Monday May 25th 2026🚨

🍗🍦We will have Chicken, Ribs, the option for meals like normal….and of course, quarts of your favorite homemade ice-cream!

‼️We tentatively plan to start serving AROUND 10:30am‼️

‼️We reserve the right to start serving sooner or later depending on the crowd size and cooking times of the chicken. Safety of our community and supporters always comes first. Take-out only at this time. Hope to see you there!‼️

🔥 Ohio Seasonal Burn Ban Starts March 1, 2026 🔥

🚫 To protect people and property from wildfires, Ohio law restricts most open burning in unincorporated areas starting March 1 through May 31.
During this period:

🕕 Burning is ONLY allowed:
✅ 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM daily

⏱️ Burning is not permitted
❌ Between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM

📍 This applies to outdoor burning of yard waste, brush, debris, trash, etc.,

⚠️ Some materials (like food waste, petroleum products, tires, etc.) are never allowed to be burned.

📞 For local rules and safety guidance, contact your fire department or Ohio Division of Forestry.

In 2025, thankfully we saw a dramatic decrease in emergency responses in Chester Twp! In total, we responded 69 times, 49 which were in Chester Twp and 20 additional responses helping other departments.

Auto Accidents- 18
Service(Tree downs, Power Lines)- 32
Hazmat/Gas Leaks- 2
Brush Fires- 3
Auto Fire- 1
Landing Zone- 2
Fire Alarms- 1

-We travel 2,367 miles in total, using 403 gallons of fuel, costing $1,490.68

-We had 352 individual responses to emergency calls
