🚨TRAFFIC ADVISORY REMINDER

The Kiwanis Club of Chester, NY annual 5K race is taking place on May 23rd, 2026 at 0845 hours. Downtown Chester will be closed to through traffic, and all access to downtown will be blocked off. This road closure should be in effect for approximately an hour. Thank you for your cooperation.

A Winter Storm Advisory has been issued for our area. Snow and icy conditions are expected to impact roadways and visibility.

The Village of Chester Police Department asks all residents to please use caution and plan ahead:

🚨Avoid unnecessary travel during the storm
🚨 Reduce your speed and increase following distance
🚨 Remove all vehicles from Village streets so highway crews can safely plow
