Last week Carkenord students were able to enjoy some amazing science feats during the day and then were able to bring their families for more fun that night! Extreme Science was a great hit!! This assembly was funded with Title I funds.

NWEA testing for the spring is this week!! All students have goals to “level up” their RIT scores to show what they know! Classes with the highest percentage of students showing growth will earn the Coyote Grow award. The Grade Level with the most growth will earn an extra recess and treat! Join in on the dress up days to get pumped up to do your best!

Last night was Carkenord’s 3rd Annual Reading Carnival and Art Show! We had Michigan authors and illustrators showcasing their work and providing a fun environment for our families. Plus, every Carkenord student had artwork on display in the halls. Students were able to enjoy pizza, popcorn, carnival games and even bring home books all at no cost to them! This event was funded with Title I funding. Thank you to our staff who worked this fun event!
