Help find this kitty in the area of Stage Rd in Cummington.

Neutered male, no collar, can’t meow but makes a funny noise instead. His name is Pumpkin. He is chipped. He is an indoor/outdoor kitty but he has been gone for too long. Vaccines are up to date.

Was picked up at 585 KINNEBROOK Rd Worthington. Caller stated the dog was a stray and followed him home and was trying to get into the house.

This is a reminder that you should NOT be setting traps for any animals. This is also a good time to remind folks to NOT use toxic poisons to kill rodents and other animals. You will end up killing more than just the intended target.

This bear has been seen in the past and has what seems to be an old injury that caused him to lose part of his leg. Yes we have contacted the EPO’s and yes we are in conversation about how to best help him.

Please be kind. Negative comments will be deleted. Please educate yourselves and your friends about our wildlife.

You always have the right to contact Mass Wildlife or the EPO’s with any questions.

While we don’t know what happened to this bear, this post is to raise awareness and educate. ACO’s take calls for all types of things, including residents finding traps on their property and questions regarding traps and if they are allowed to set them.

We also take calls about how to eliminate certain animals. We do appreciate those of you that take the time to ask questions and help to protect our wildlife.

Location is Westhampton/Chesterfield line.
