Hot vehicle deaths are preventable. Remember to A-C-T!
It's summertime - please remember the devastating consequence of leaving children in hot cars. On average, a child dies from heatstroke in a car every 10 days. Their caregiver simply forgot or did not know they were in there. Don’t risk injury or death by leaving a child in a car even for one minute, even with the windows down. Put your purse, briefcase, left shoe or phone in the back seat with your child as a reminder that they are in the car with you. Be sure to lock and secure your car so kids cannot enter on their own.
