This month, Chesterfield-Colonial Heights Department of Social Services is proud to recognize the important work of our Employment Services team and workforce professionals throughout our community.
Workforce development is about more than finding a job. It’s about helping people build skills, overcome barriers, connect with opportunities, and create pathways toward greater economic stability and self-sufficiency.
Through career planning, job search assistance, connections to training and education, supportive services, and partnerships with employers and community organizations, our Employment Services team works alongside individuals and families as they take steps toward their employment and career goals.
We also know this work takes a community. By strengthening partnerships with local employers, workforce organizations, training providers, and community partners, we can better connect job seekers with the resources and opportunities available right here in our region.
