We loved seeing and meeting many of our students and their families yesterday at school. Thank you both teachers and guardians for stopping by the PTA table, signing up for membership and getting some Spirit wear!

La Asociación de Padres y Maestros (PTA por sus siglas en inglés) estará presente este jueves en el evento "Meet & Greet, Find your Seat" (orientación de Kindergarten y conocer su aula o salón de clases) con la mesa de información y tendrá a la venta vestimenta de Espíritu Escolar (Spirit Wear), para que su nuevo estudiante esté listo tanto para el regreso a clases, los días de Espíritu Escolar y otros eventos.

Los padres que desean actualizar tallas, obtener sudaderas, etc., pueden hacerlo durante el evento de puertas abiertas (jueves 5 a 7 p. m.) o en el evento "Paletas Heladas en el Patio de Recreo" que se realizará el sábado para todos los grados de 12 p. m. a 1 p. m. y solo familias de KG de 11 a. m. - mediodía.

Aceptaremos efectivo o tarjeta de crédito. Si tiene alguna pregunta sobre el "Spirit Wear" y los próximos eventos, ¡comuníquese con nosotros! 🦋

¡Atención padres! ‼️

Ahora es un buen momento para verificar el estado de su solicitud de voluntariado (sistema Via Raptor), especialmente si está interesado en ser acompañante en excursiones o participar en grupos de mentores este año escolar.
Recuerde, las solicitudes deben renovarse cada dos años y el proceso de aprobación puede demorar de 2 a 4 semanas, ¡así que no espere!

Tenga en cuenta que si solo está de visita para almorzar o para ayudar con un evento escolar o del PTA (Asociación de Padres y Maestros) no es necesario registrarse. La solicitud de voluntario es principalmente para que se le permita dejarle con los estudiantes sin supervisión (como en las excursiones).

Attention Parents ‼️

Now is a great time to check the status of your volunteer application (Via Raptor system), especially if you're interested in chaperoning field trips or participating in mentor groups this school year.
Remember, applications need to be renewed every couple of years, and the approval process can take 2-4 weeks, so don’t wait!

Please note, if you’re just visiting for lunch, or assisting with a school or PTA event, no sign-up is needed. This is mainly to be allowed to be left with students unsupervised (like field trips).

PTA will be on site this Thursday for the Meet & Greet, Find your Seat event and will be selling Spirit Wear, so your new student is ready for Back-to-School, Spirit Days and other school events.

If parents want to update sizes, get sweatshirts, etc, they can do that during the open house (5-7pm) or at the Popsicles on the Playground event, that's open to all grades from 12pm - 1pm and only KG families before that from 11am - noon.

We will accept cash or credit card. For any questions on Spirit Wear and the upcoming events, please, reach out to us! 🦋

Hey everyone! As part of our 5th Grade Legacy projects, one of our initiatives focuses on helping kids make and open up to new friends through the universal language of games. However, we need your help to make this happen!

This is the final week to donate gently used games or puzzles. These contributions are crucial for the success of the project. You can send them with your child or drop them off in the designated box in the office.

Our 5th Grade team is eagerly checking the donation box daily, but so far, we've received only a handful of donations. Our goal is to collect at least 20 items. Let's come together to support this wonderful cause and enrich our children's social experiences at school.

Get excited for Crestwood's AMAZING lemonade! Students learn how they can use the plants they grow or purchase at the Nature Fair as ingredients for various things such as salsa or lemonade. Students help squeeze fresh lemons, learn how to make simple syrup, and learn how they can infuse the simple syrup with things such as lavender, basil, or lemon balm. This year's lemonade features lemon balm!

Attention everyone! The much-awaited Spring Dance is finally here, and it's happening tonight at 6 pm! Due to possiblility of rain, we'll be moving the festivities inside to the cafeteria. But worry not, it's still going to be a blast! Here are a few ground rules to ensure everyone has a fantastic time: 1. Family Event: This dance is all about family fun! Parents, please remember that your presence is required to accompany your children at all times, whether they're grooving on the dance floor or taking a breather outside. Safety first! 2. Stay in One Area: Let's keep the party centralized! We kindly ask that attendees refrain from wandering around the building. The excitement will be concentrated in the designated dance area. 3. Music Galore: Get ready to boogie down to the beats provided by DJ Coyle and DJ Porzio! They've prepared an awesome lineup of musical games and your favorite tunes to keep the energy high all night long. 4. BYOS (Bring Your Own Snacks): While we're dishing out the fun, unfortunately, we won't have concessions available. Feel free to bring along snacks or a water bottle to keep your energy levels up throughout the event. So mark your calendars, grab your dancing shoes, and get ready to make some unforgettable memories at the Spring Dance tonight! See you there!
