LHI functions to remember the less fortunate and show them unconditional love through working alongside to live an empowered life. It is the desire of LHI to empower individuals and communities through holistic care, not just physical needs. Therefore, LHI works with schools and churches to impact the broader community. Food and clothing are needed for daily living, but only meeting these material

needs will not stop the root issues that create poverty. LHI gets to the root of the problem by partnering hurting people with a community that can provide sustainability and reconciliation through Christ. Startling Statistics:
