⚠️Only use a generator outdoors and away from windows.
⚠️Do not use a gas stove or oven to heat your home.
⚠️Disconnect appliances and electronics to avoid damage from electrical surges.
⚠️Have alternative plans for refrigerating medications or using power-dependent medical devices.

Weather terminology can be confusing sometimes. 😖

❄️ How do you know the difference between a Winter Weather Watch and a Winter Weather Warning?

According to U.S. National Weather Service (NWS), this is how:

⚠️ Winter Weather Watch - snow, sleet, or ice is possible. Be prepared. Treat it like having the ingredients to make a milkshake, meaning the conditions are right.

🚨 Winter Weather Warning - snow, sleet, or ice expected. Take action! Treat it like the milkshake has been made.

You may also hear of a Winter Weather Advisory which means light wintry precipitation could stick to roads and affect travel if precautions are not taken.
