PLEASE VOTE FOR ALAN POLITTE
FOR WARD 3 – CHESTERFIELD CITY COUNCIL
Dr. Alan Politte (Psychologist) announces his bid for Ward 3 Chesterfield City Council to restore integrity to Chesterfield City Council.
Dr. Politte wants to be on the Chesterfield City Council to serve the residents of Ward 3 and all of Chesterfield. He wants to immediately be involved in the selection of the new City Manager, participate in the review of city policies vis a vis state laws and stop embarrassing infighting to gain political power.
Dr. Politte brings a wealth of experience having been involved with the city from the beginning. Starting on the Parks committee and then as a member of the Planning Commission. He served on the City Council for eight years. During his term on the Council he was the prime mover for the development of the park system. Also, he started the first Arts Committee. He continued to serve the City after he was off the Council, by being an Officer of the Chesterfield Community Development Corporation. He now serves as a member of the Chesterfield Parks and Arts Committee.
Dr. Politte came to Chesterfield from the Chicago suburbs as a Special Education Administrator to be the first Executive Director of the St. Louis County Productive Living Board. He has maintained a private practice as a Psychologist for 30 years in Creve Coeur.
Some of Dr. Politte’s other significant activities include adjunct instructor at UMSL, Maryville University, Lindenwood University and St. Louis Community College. He has been President of the St. Louis Psychological Association, Board member of the Missouri Psychological Association, President of the Chesterfield Kiwanis Club, Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus (Ascension Parish), and member of St. Louis Area Boy Scout Council Committee for Special Needs Scouts. He served in the Medical section of the Missouri Air National Guard.
