It was such a joy to welcome the Libertas Homeschool Co-op to the Capitol today! I always love having groups visit—especially students—because it’s a wonderful place to learn not only about the history of our governing body here in Virginia, but also about the current events and decisions shaping our Commonwealth today.

What a fun night with Cub Scout Pack 2877 and other packs in the area in Chester for their annual Trunk-or-Treat! 🎃👻

I had such a great time seeing all the creativity—from the costumes to the decorated trunks—and getting to help judge the Golden Pumpkin contest was no easy task! Every Cub Scout and family brought so much imagination and fun to the evening except for Trunk 17 who brought the scare 👀 😂

Congratulations to all the winners and a big shoutout to every scouting family who participated—you made this such a special and memorable community event. 💛💙

Well in the course of a week a lot of our yard signs have been reported stolen from yards especially in Hopewell and several in Chester were vandalized. We have more signs and are happy to deliver you a new one! We did the hard work and asked permission to put up signs everywhere you see them. Signs randomly thrown up along street corners and public streets are illegal and trespassing. There used to be a volunteer in Chester who collected illegal signs, miss him a ton!
