Hey all! Did you know that we have an Amazon wishlist? All of the items on this list go towards the care for the animals at the animal shelter! It's always great to receive any items from our wishlist, but right now, we are specifically in need of Capstars for Cats and Capstars for Dogs 2-25lbs! Meet Jumping Bean! This little cutie is a 2 year old neutered male Shih Tzu mix and weighs about 13lbs! This little guy got his name because he loves to jump to get your attention! People are his favorite thing so he just wants to spend time with everyone! Jumping Bean is kind of interested in toys, but gets bored quickly. He met dogs while at the shelter and, in typical small dog fashion, he wants to be in charge! Because of this, he may do best with calmer and/or submissive dogs. With his handsome face, cute curly tail and small size, we know Jumping Bean will go fast, so call us right away!

Crash Test Dummy here! I'm sure by my name and my puppy like features, you have figured out that I am an energetic guy! I am a 7 month old Pitbull Mix and I weigh about 41lbs! My name might have dummy in it, but I am actually pretty smart! I pay close attention to people and I already know how to sit...if you have treats handy! Playing with friends is the best! We can run around, play with toys or relax on the couch! My friends at the shelter said I even tolerated getting a bath! And don't worry, if I tire you out playing, I love to entertain myself with squeaky toys! Don't forget, I am still a puppy so I will still need some training, but that should be a piece of cake for me!

Who's ready for a puppy?!? Meet Mo-ville! This adorable neutered male Terrier puppy is about 6 months old and weighs just under 20lbs! Mo-ville is probably as big as he is going to get and he is packed full of energy! Like all puppies, he needs some training and needs to be taught manners! Watch your fingers when giving him treats and he'd probably due best in a home with no very young children! We also think Mo-ville may be deaf, but he's too hyper to get an accurate reading. That or he's just not a good listener! Mo-ville is young, playful and ready to go!

Here's Bob! Bob is a 3 year old neutered male Beagle mix who weighs about 23lbs! Bob is a spunky little guy who never stops moving! He is very food motivated so he should be easy to teach! Bob loves being with people and did meet dogs while at the shelter. Overall, Bob did well meeting other dogs, but he was very dominant during the meetings. Hopefully, now that he is neutered, the dominance will settle down and hopefully go away. Bob loves playing tug with toys and is a vocal player so you may hear some growling, but that is just his play style! We know the right family for Bob is out there, so give us a call to come and meet him today!

My name is Fifty and I am a 3 year old spayed female Hound mix and I weigh about 33lbs! The people at the shelter say I am clam, but don't worry, I like to play too! I get really excited for treats and do the tippy taps with my toes! I did meet other dogs at the shelter and did pretty good, but I don't like the forward dogs who get in my face! Say hello to Lucky Charms🍀! This 6 month old Pitty girl is a combination of shy and playful! When she first meets you, she can be shy and timid🙈, but just give her a few minutes to warm up and she's running around the room chasing toys! She is still just a puppy so she will for sure need some training! She tries to sit, but her attention span is kind of short😅. She can also be a bit mouthy when she is playing with you and when taking treats, so she may not be the best fit for a home with very young children. Lucky Charms is eager to learn though and is very food motivated! This Lucky girl is a spayed female and weighs about 42lbs!

The Lorax is an Australian Shepherd mix (?) who is around 2 years old. He weighs 25 lbs. and is one adorable ball of fluff! He is very puppy-like and gets zoomies when he is really excited. He walks well on a leash and already knows sit and shake (shakes with both paws 🤣). He does well with other dogs with a slow introduction. Other dogs who are very forward and in your face annoy him. He's not the biggest fan of being crated- he was sure to let us know! He really just wants to be with his people!

Who needs a rooster? Hei Hei (pronounced like Hey Hey) is looking for a farm full of girlies who need his attention and protection! We think Hei Hei is an Old English Bantam due to his tiny size! As a reminder, roosters are prohibited in residential areas so please make sure you are zoned agricultural and Bantams don't do well in the cold. We think he is about 1.5-2 years old and there is no adoption fee for roosters!

As you may remember, Fre shavocado came to us after her owner passed away. She was adopted, but she gets lonely and her anxiety gets the best of her and then she starts chewing on things she shouldn't. When she came in she had bad skin and ear infections, but she is healed now and is looking for a retirement home that can provide her with a soft warm place to nap. Fre Shavocado will need to meet any other dogs that she is going to live with. She loves being pet and would love to share a snack with you. If you have extra room in your heart for a sweet gal like her she would love to fill the space. Fre Shavocado is a 6 year old spayed female Terrier mix who weighs about 25lbs.

You're not ready for this ball of floof!! Say hi to Goofy! Goofy is a 7 month old neutered male Shih Tzu/Poodle Mix and he weighs about 16lbs! Goofy is your typical puppy and loves doing all the puppy things; playing, eating treats, grabbing toys and being in your lap! Goofy does need to be house trained and all of the other typical puppy things! As you can see, Goofy has A LOT of fur which means he will require frequent grooming! Please keep this and the fact that he is still a puppy in mind when considering adopting him! Our awesome volunteer groomer just gave him a haircut. Check out those before and after pics! 😊

Gosh! Mickey Mouse can be a little on the shy side, but he is also very sweet! Mickey is a 1 year old neutered male Pitbull mix and weighs about 48lbs! Going slow and being patient is the best way to meet Mickey! He so sweet and smart and already knows sit and lay down, but you have to hurry and give him the treat or he'll get the zoomies and will start running around. Mickey really comes out of his shell with other dogs! He loves playing with other dogs so it would be great if he had a buddy at home!
