Today at approximately at 9:32 am, Ruby, Mount Crogan, Chesterfield Fire, Bay Springs Fire, Chesterfield Rescue and Lifeguard were dispatched to a house fire with entrapment.

Chesterfield Rescue member / Chesterfield Fire member Matthew Oliver and Sheriff’s Office Sgt Winburn were in the right place at the right time and were able to save the trapped occupants before the calvary arrived.

Thank you to 1419/F-55 Matthew Oliver and C-2 Sgt Winburn on a on well done.

On Saturday January 17, 2026 we held our annual awards banquet. Members came together to fellowship and enjoy a delicious meal done my Ms Nellie Sowell. Several awards were presented tonight.

Over the last several years Junior has been one of the guiding force for the squad. Always striving to pass on his knowledge to the younger generation. We are forever grateful for the wisdom he has bestowed upon all of us these past several years.

Our members strive to answer as many calls as e can. There is several who are always there but their is one who you hear just a little more than others and that is 1419 - Matthew Oliver. Matthew is one of the ones we can count on to answer the call and to help out whenever help is needed.

Jonathan Walter
Jonathan is our equipment officer. To know Jonathan is to know his love for the squad and his willingness to do whatever is needed. Over the last year he has checked off so many different projects that we have given him and strives to make the squad better every day. If that means washing the trucks and checking every supply he will get it done. He has been very instrumental with recruiting new members for the squad. Anything we need done he will take care of either that day or the next day as long as he isn’t at work.

Last but not least we want to say thank you to all of our families for being supportive and understanding as we serve our communities. Without you supporting us we could not do what we do.
