It is vital that American communities better understand what America’s 911 Force and their families are facing – and use that knowledge to simply, positively, and productively help those families address the challenges that service to our country has imposed upon them. The Vets on Track Foundation is taking a step forward in providing the necessary support they need. We remain optimistic about the future of our veterans and first responders…no matter what uniform they wear, and positively encouraged by the reaction from communities all across the country to support the Foundation's Community Outreach Programs. We must keep that momentum going, so that our ability to link veterans and their families to existing programs, and the ongoing development of impactful, supportive services, will continue to play a vital role in the greater success of our veterans, and this Nation.
We accept furniture and household accessory donations that are in good, gently used clean condition.

It’s been a couple of weeks since we had our volunteers and other team-mates at the warehouse preparing for a Delivery Mission or a donation pickup. Over the past 3 and a half years, we have furnished nearly 500 homes for veterans, first responders and their families, and today, it seems very strange that we are at a complete stand-still - no donation pickups, and of course no delivery missions.
The effects of COVID-19 are real to our organization. The health concerns surrounding this virus has stopped us dead in our tracks. I know there are volunteers out their that want to get back to making a difference, but quite honestly, we don’t know when that will happen again? Since the virus struck - we have spent one Saturday at the warehouse just moving things around, making dump runs...just trying to bring a little organization into the place. Here lately though, it’s only been the Founder and CEO making runs to the warehouse to open the doors for other organizations like Micah Ministries, who are still making delivery runs on a case by case basis. This is one small way that we can still continue to support our community and those in need.
Today, we are still getting emails and calls for donation pickups (even though our website and page say we can no longer operate at this time). We still receive requests for support from veterans in need - but due to the nature of our work, it becomes very dangerous not only for our volunteers, but for the folks we serve as well.
The one piece that has truly hurt our Foundation is the lack of financial support during this desperate time. Financially, our Foundation is at a point that we may be forced to close the doors simply because be can’t pay the bills. If we are forced to close, then we have go down knowing that we did everything in our power to help those in need - we did make a difference. We have always said - it truly does take a village, and without the support we have received in the past, we could not have furnished those 500+ homes. So to our community partners and supporters - thank you for allowing us to do what we do. Let’s hope and pray that a small miracle can be realized, and we can keep our doors open to continue serving those in need!
