How does a test-drive turn into a donation?

✅ You register and take a test-drive at Graff Ford of Chesterton on June 27th
✅ You complete the quick post-drive survey
✅ Ford donates $30 to Rebuilding Together Duneland

We are incredibly grateful to the Porter County Community Foundation for their generous support of our mission. Partnerships like this help us continue serving our community and making a meaningful impact. Thank you for your commitment to strengthening our region!

Rebuilding Together Duneland received a Porter County Community Fund grant to support Rebuilding Day 2026. On Rebuilding Day, the last Saturday in April, volunteers complete essential repairs that help neighbors stay safe, warm and dry in their homes.

We have some great news to share!

Rebuilding Together Duneland has been chosen by Graff Ford of Chesterton and Ford Motor Company as the benefiting organization for their Drive For Your Community event on Saturday, June 27th — and we are so grateful.

For every registered individual who takes a free test-drive that day, Ford will donate $30 to Rebuilding Together - Duneland, up to $6,000 total. That money goes straight back into keeping our Duneland neighbors safe in the homes they love.

All you have to do:

This past Monday, the Board of Rebuilding Together Duneland met to wrap up our 30th Annual Rebuilding Day.

Before closing out the year, we paused to recognize someone who has been part of this mission from the very beginning.

Chris Larr has been with Rebuilding Together for 35 years, dating back to the early days in Valparaiso before the Duneland affiliate was established.

From those early years to the many years she has served as Secretary, Chris has helped guide this work and the people behind it.

Because of Chris, homes have been made safer and lives have been improved, and Rebuilding Together Duneland continues to grow stronger each year.

Chris, thank you for your time, your leadership, and your dedication to helping neighbors in need. Your impact will truly be felt for generations to come.
