The Thomas Branch will be closed on Monday, June 22 through Tuesday, June 23, 2026 while construction crews complete entrance door and front window replacement. The book drop will also not be available at during this time. We apologize for any inconvenience.

The Hageman Branch will be fully open from 9 AM - 6 PM on both dates for any patron needs, including dropping off Summer Reading entry tickets.

Curbside Service will be able at the Thomas Branch during the closure dates for any needed materials. Holds for materials at the Thomas Branch can be placed via WPL's online catalog at wpl.lib.in.us.

📚🎉Our Summer Reading Program is in full swing through July 18 and you can still sign up! Pictured are incredible prize baskets that can be won in the final drawing for kids ages 0-4. There is a free book and food coupons for all kids who finish the program. All ages are invited to participate by registering in person at either branch, or participate digitally by visiting wplin.beanstack.com.

🎶 Chris and Lou will be bringing the "summer tunes" to Chesterton Park on Friday, June 19 at 7 PM. Grab a blanket or lawn chairs, and enjoy free popcorn from the Chesterton-Porter Rotary Club. Bottled water and soft drinks will be available for $1.00.
