Be aware of scammers attempting to obtain money from citizens under fraudulent pretenses via telephone. We are aware of persons calling individuals and identifying themselves as Chestertown Police personnel, demanding money in lieu of being arrested. We would NEVER use this tactic. Please be alert to this criminal activity and contact us at (410) 778-1800 if you receive a call of this nature.
