Kent Family Center Do you live in Kent County, MD? Come check us out! Kent Family Center provides FREE services to parents of children under 5 and expecting parents! No problem!

We offer individual and developmentally appropriate activities for children birth to four, promoting optimal development in all domains. Parent and child activities are completed daily to strengthen parent/child relationships. Our FREE SERVICES include, but are not limited to, fun filled fieldtrips, resource linking, school readiness, socialization and peer interactions. Various workshops are offe

red to strengthen overall individual and family wellbeing. We offer classes to promote self-sufficiency and enhance parenting skills. We enjoy exploring the outdoors with family trail walks, park and beach days (weather permitting). Fruit picking, family cooking, fitness/yoga classes, crafting, and movie days, are just a few of the fun experiences you can encounter at Kent Family Center. Can't make it to the center? We offer flexible weekly or biweekly home visits, allowing us to partner with you at home! Visits include Parent and Child Together activities, parenting information, and family well-being support. All our services are FREE OF CHARGE, Transportation is available! Join us in learning, growing and playing together. Making new friends and lasting memories along the way! Can't wait to meet you!

Here at the Kent Family Center, we want to help your family and children thrive!

Hope you can join our (free) fun activities we have planned this month!
☀Every Monday at 10am, we meet at a local playground or beach.

☀Other activities consist of Yoga with Fit with Aundra , Tips for Toddlers, Family cooking, Mental Wellness with Discovering Serenity Counseling Services and more.

We want to wish Lisa Mazingo, the best of luck as she begins a new chapter. We were so lucky to have her as our director since the center opened in 2016. She did countless behind the scenes tasks to keep the center running but also led parent groups and filled in in the classroooms. She jumped in and did any task that needed to be done! We will miss her but are excited for her to be closer to her family!
