The cold weather didn’t stop our community from celebrating St. Patrick’s Day at Iron City Brewing. Parade, food vendors, live music, and Punxsutawney Phil even paid a visit to the gathering. Lower Valley Ambulance Service crews enjoyed participating once again in the St. Pats parade, and providing medical support for all the attendees. Thanks again to ICB for having us there ☘️☘️☘️☘️

Fox Chapel Area School District senior Spencer Stephens, who is in our Emergency Response Technology program, participates in an internship with Parkview EMS and Lower Valley Ambulance Service. This unpaid internship adds an additional component to Spencer’s educational experience to prepare him for the future.

As we all know life is not fair, especially for this sweet little girl. This is Aurora Romano. She is battling cancer once again, when most kids her age should be out playing in the snow she will be enduring hours of chemotherapy, IV needles, sickness and pain. Her dad, Joe is a Paramedic at our service, we as an organization are asking for any help that you can give. All contributions will go directly to Aurora’s care. Thank you for any and all help you can give ❤️

Around 1:15pm today, Lower Valley was dispatched for a residential structure fire in East Deer Twp. Crews arrived on scene to a fully engulfed structure. EMS Command was immediately set up by Chief Terry Anzaldi. Our crews were quickly repositioned so that all areas of our service were covered to assure timely and reliable responses to all of our residents. Rehab Services were provided by Pioneer Hose Company Station 112. Resources from Salvation Army and American Red Cross were also contacted for assistance. We would like to thank all of the fire departments that responded and are grateful to report that no injuries were reported. Our hearts go out to the family that lost everything in this tragic incident.

Lower Valley has been overjoyed this holiday season with participating in all of the light up nights throughout our municipalities and shop with a cop at our local Target. These pictures only represent a portion of good times had by all. We are excited and appreciative of being included in these events and look forward to continuing tradition with each town as the holiday seasons continue! Have a happy and safe holiday season from all of us here at Lower Valley!
