Automotive Batteries will be accepted at no charge – FREE
TIRES: Small $5 (Bike/Wagon), Medium $10 (Truck/Car), Large $20 (Tractor Tires)
We will have a dumpster on site for non-hazardous items at a nominal charge ranging from $2-$20 depending on bulk of items. WE WILL NOT BE ACCEPTING ORGANIC YARD DEBRIS.
Any mattresses or box springs will start at $20.
Please bring correct cash or a make checks out to the Town of Prairie Lake. We do NOT accept credit card payments at this time.

THE TOWN OF PRAIRIE LAKE IS HIRING
Part-Time Laborer with CDL

The Town of Prairie Lake is seeking applicants for a part-time laborer with CDL or the ability to obtain a CDL. (Possible payment assistance from the Town towards CDL.) Duties will include snow plowing in the winter months and being available through out the year for various job duties as given by the Road Patrolman up to 20 hours per week. Pay will be starting at $20 per hour or based on experience and qualifications. A full job description and application can be obtained by calling the Town Hall at 715-924-2580 or emailing the town clerk/treasurer at [email protected]. The position will be open until filled.

***NOTICE TOWN OF PRAIRIE LAKE RESIDENTS AND SURROUNDING AREAS***

The Town of Prairie Lake roads are NOT all open to ATV/UTV use. Please follow the guidelines and maps set forth by the Town of Prairie Lake board. A map and ordinance with our listed routes can be found on our website for reference at under the "Forms & Permits" section. The routes are marked within the Town of Prairie Lake. Please obey the signage and be respectful of adjacent property owners. Citations will be issued.

THE ELECTION RESULTS FROM THE APRIL 6th ELECTION ARE AS FOLLOWS FOR THE TOWN BOARD:

Chairman - Joe Atwood: 248 votes

Supervisor - Lisa Wenzel: 74 votes

Supervisor - Wayne Brenholt: 195 votes

Supervisor - Lori Richter: 161 votes

We had a total of 280 voters. Thank you to everyone who voted!
