Apple Valley Agri is looking for a Manure Equipment Operator to join our team. Applicants need to be flexible, dependable, self-motivated, trustworthy and a team player.

Responsibilities
• Lay out and roll up manure hose lines
• Drive UTV to check manure hose lines
• Set up and Run Manure agitation boat
• Drive Tractor to move hose
• Run Tractor filling Manure trucks
• Run and adjust manure booster pumps.
• Maintain manure and hose equipment

Schedule: Monday-Saturday (Typical Hours 6am-8pm)
Job Type: Seasonal (Busy Season is Sept until Dec and April to June)

Apple Valley Agri is looking for a well-qualified and motivated Diesel Equipment Mechanic to join our team. Applicant must have experience with servicing Farm Equipment, Semis, Trailers, Straight Trucks, and Heavy Equipment. Applicants need to be flexible, dependable, self-motivated, trustworthy and a team player.

Responsibilities:
• Routine servicing & overhauling farm equipment, semis, trailers, straight trucks and heavy equipment.
• Detecting technical malfunctions and part needs
• Replacing parts and appropriately reassembling
• Communicating repair needs to management
• Checking electrical systems and transmission parts and ensuring proper operations
• Place necessary orders to complete repairs
• Ability to understand inventory and the life cycle of parts
• Work with warranty and returns to be sure they are handled efficiently
• Occasional driving when necessary for production goals
• Perform DOT Inspections
• Keep the shop and work area clean and organized.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience working as a diesel mechanic and/or related schooling
• Must have valid Wisconsin driver's license, Class A CDL or the ability to acquire one
• Certified in air brake repairs
• Certified in DOT inspections
• Good attention to detail, including completing paperwork properly
• Willingness to complete training courses
• MUST HAVE OWN TOOLS

Tasks include:

Part-time Truck Drivers for Fall manure pumping season, willing to help get CDL if interested.
***Class A drivers with N endorsement would have the opportunity to have full time hours during the summer with filling in hauling asphalt.
Apple Valley Agri is hiring for Fall Season Truck Drivers to safely transfer farm products to and from fields around Sand Creek, WI, using automatic and standard transmission trucks and tankers. Drivers will need to follow instructions and maps and be able to tow and run pumps; Sun up/Sun down hours; Work shifts can be up to 16 hours with varying start/end times due to weather, field conditions and crop readiness.
This is a Fall Season position with some spring/summer hours.
Key attributes for any potential candidate include a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, team oriented, self-motivated, and willing to jump in and run when it’s time to go.
Qualifications
• Active Driver’s License with a CDL or willingness to get one
Pay will vary based on qualifications and experience.
