The following are new hours for the library this summer.
Mon , Tues, Thurs and Fri 1p-5p. Wed will be 9a-12 noon.

Come join us for the Summer Reading Program
July 10th, 17th, 24th, and 31st 10am-11:30am. Snacks, craft, and a story! A drawing will be done for a Kindle Fire for those who attend all four days.

Its time for summer reading time this year. We will have a story from a surprise visitor each day, prizes, and a snack. Dates are Mon July 6, Tues July 7 & Wed July 8 for 10 - 11am. Hope to see lots of kids.

Everyone mark your calendars for July 8th,15th and the 22nd. Chetopa City Library will be having their Summer Reading Program
the back of the library from 10am- 11am each monday. Also there is still alot of books for give away in the back of the library that we need gone soon, so we can have summer reading program. All books have to be gone by July 1st or the trash truck will take them.PLEASE COME GET THEM.

The Chetopa City Library is weeding it books by SEKLS. There are several hundreds that have to need to go within the week, so we can finish weeding the rest. The library is open from 10-2 mon , tues, thurs, and fri. Wed 2-6pm. Or if you would like to look and can not make these hours I would be glad to meet you at another time. My number is 620-404-8961.

The phone and internet is both working at the chetopa city library as of today. Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused anyone. Was nobody's fault just a accident.

Our Library has NO phone or internet service available at this time. The city was doing us a favor and cutting down some trees, but also our phone and internet lines.. We should have service back up and running the first of next week. Sorry for any inconvience this may had caused. Looking forward to seeing you!
