We are switching to a Friday/Saturday format starting in May. This aligns us with our sister Friends' groups. Now, we will not be there on July 4th.

Now there’s research to prove it!

A new study released today reveals what we’ve long known… That libraries are good for you, and the community benefits of libraries consistently outweigh the costs.

In surveys of over 6000 NSW residents, the report found that people who visit libraries have higher self-reported health and wellbeing – and the more they visit, the better they feel.

In a time of misinformation, social isolation and global book bans, this report is a vital reminder of the value and importance of libraries.
