So as most of you are aware by now, the election didn't go our way. God's plan is perfect! However, we had an absolute blast campaigning and getting to visit with so many wonderful people. No excuses & no regrets! We will be coming around collecting signs the next few days and since we will still have them you might see us again in 4 years! Thank you to everyone and not just the ones who voted for me. We live in a fantastic community! Lastly, congratulations to Rusty Miller, I wish you nothing but success!

Tomorrow June 16th Election Day! It's finally here folks! What an adventure this has been. To me this is one of the most American things we can do and to have our voices heard. Regardless of who you are voting for in the commissioner's race get out and vote. There is a lot on the ballot that deserves our attention. So many Americans gave their lives so that we could voice our opinions through our vote.
I want to wish my opponent good luck as well and I commend Rusty Miller for stepping out there and giving it a go. It's not always easy to put yourself out there to be put under a microscope and possibly ridiculed, but you did and I salute you for it.

We're drawing close to the end, and I'm assured of the thorough plan I've laid out for my role as your commissioner. From the start, I've been transparent about my goals and intentions, and I fully intend to honor my commitments. Rest assured, my work ethic and perseverance will outpace my opponent's. Though our schedules may vary, I'm confident in my ability to dedicate the necessary time and effort to excel in this role and produce outstanding results. Let's push through to victory!

I would like to take the time to clear up some rumors and straight out lies about what I may do if elected.
1.) I am going to fire my opponent, even though I told him I wouldn't. False
2.) I'm going to fire numerous other employees. False
3.) We will no longer respond to fires with graders. False

Early voting starts tomorrow. With that said I would like to thank everyone for all the wonderful conversations, support and encouragement. We had an absolutely great time! Unlike the state and federal level races we ran a clean race without all the mudslinging and for that I am proud. At this point it just boils down to who you the voters think is best suited to be your next District 1 County Commissioner. God bless!

I would like to take some time to share my goals if elected:
1.) I will build on what is already being accomplished.
2.) I will be a good steward of our tax dollars and of what is entrusted in me and my team.
3.) I will collaborate with other elected officials to better position our county during tough financial times.
4.) Actively search for and secure grants to improve roadways & equipment.
5.) Encourage employees to find a better way of doing business and find cost saving measures.
6.) Do what I can to improve the benefits and income of my employees.
7.) Share with the residents the work that is being accomplished & work with them to continually improve the district and county.b
8.) Lastly, to leave the district and county in better shape than it currently is.

Resourcefulness is a core value in our household, where we continually look for methods to conserve resources, breathe new life into discarded materials, and enhance their durability. Converting bacon grease into soap is a prime example of this mindset. As County Commissioner, I would apply this same ingenuity to my duties.
