Policies that are cruel and arbitrary always have hidden costs. Laramie County taxpayers will pay to defend this lawsuit. Does that make the county safer in any way? We know the 287(g) agreement has made the county less safe for many of our neighbors and friends.

The ACLU of Wyoming is accusing the Laramie County Sheriff’s Office of not adhering to Wyoming law requiring approval by county commissioners and a...

HAGEMAN BILL ATTACKS PUBLIC LANDS PROTECTION.
When Hageman’s not trying to steal your public lands, she’s busy degrading them.

This time, Hageman wants to stop future administrations from reinstating a 25-year-old policy that prevents roadbuilding on 3.3 million acres of federal land in Wyoming.
https://oilcity.news/general/2026/05/24/wyomings-hageman-aims-to-block-future-roadless-areas-despite-overwhelming-support-to-keep-public-land-pristine/

Hageman’s bill, House Resolution 7695, would enshrine the Trump administration’s undoing of the Roadless Rule and also prevent it from reappearing.

“In Wyoming and across the West, voters consistently support responsible stewardship of public lands. They expect decisions that protect the resources communities depend on — not policies that risk long-term damage for short-term gain," Justin Hayes wrote in a March 31 column for Wyofile.com
https://wyofile.com/rolling-back-roadless-protections-puts-wyomings-water-at-risk/

The Trump administration has already attacked the 2001 rule. In June 2025, U.S. Department of Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins announced her intention to repeal the “roadless” class of land found on nine Wyoming national forests.

Hageman shouldn’t be surprised that more than 99% of the 200,000-plus people and groups opposed the move during the required public comment period, according to a Center for Western Priorities analysis.
https://westernpriorities.org/2025/09/comment-analysis-finds-over-99-opposition-to-repealing-2001-roadless-rule/

Hageman won’t stop. And neither will you.

On behalf of Wyoming’s 30 million public lands, commit today to support Hageman’s opponents. Even $3. Better yet, $30.

I am humbly seeking another term as your House District 14 rep so I can continue to serve the hard working people of Albany County. As a servant leader, my drive to build strong Wyoming communities has only deepened since I first took office in 2021. As your representative, I will continue to work towards attainable housing, good paying jobs, affordable healthcare, mental health services, protection of our public lands, and a strong system of public education.
