Wyoming Children's Trust Fund

Wyoming Children's Trust Fund Welcome to our page! Vision: WY children will thrive in healthy families and strong communities.

We at Wyoming Children's Trust Fund & Prevent Child Abuse Wyoming are working towards prevention efforts in Wyoming to promote child wellness. Mission: Coordinating prevention efforts in Wyoming to prevent incidents of child neglect, emotional, physical and sexual abuse. Wyoming Children’s Trust Fund (WYCTF) was established in 1994, W.S. 14-8-101 through 108, to provide funding for the prevention

of child abuse and neglect. Wyoming Department of Family Services (DFS) serves as the fiscal agent for the Governor appointed board. There are five Governor appointed members, one designee from DFS, one designee from Wyoming Department of Education, and one designee from Wyoming Department of Health. In 2020, WYCTF hired two state employees to perform the operations of the board. For more information, or to make a donation, please contact:

Join us for our next Strengthening Families Webinar: Changing Narratives on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at 3:00 PM Eastern Time.

Jared Robinson from RALLY will explore how changing narratives can change hearts and minds. Participants will learn what brain science tells us about meeting audiences where they are, tailoring messages for diverse audiences, and using persuasion principles to bridge differences and help people see issues affecting children, families, and communities in a new light.

This webinar is presented by the Children’s Trust Fund Alliance and the Center for the Study of Social Policy.

🎉 Congratulations to Nicole Neider! 🎉

We are proud to announce that our Executive Director, Nicole Neider, is the 2026 recipient of the Compassion in Action: Boots on the Ground Award, presented at the Wyoming Joint Symposium for Children and Youth! 🏆

This prestigious award honors individuals whose extraordinary service, compassion, and dedication result in positive, lasting change for child victims and their families. It recognizes those who consistently go above and beyond in service to others—and that describes Nicole perfectly.

As the Executive Director of the Wyoming Children's Trust Fund and Prevent Child Abuse Wyoming, Nicole has dedicated her career to strengthening families and ensuring our state's children have the protection and support they deserve.

What makes Nicole truly exceptional:

Empowering Youth: As an advisor to the Wyoming Youth Advisory Council, she helps young people with lived experience in foster care and the juvenile justice system become powerful leaders and advocates for change.

Genuine Connection: She perfectly balances leadership with empathy. She meets young people exactly where they are, listens to their experiences, and ensures their voices are amplified and heard.

Advancing Healing: Her work extends far beyond policy. She champions and advances programs that address trauma, prevent abuse, and create real opportunities for healing.

Her nominator described Nicole as someone who is often "in the trenches"—working directly with youth, leading outreach efforts, supporting advocates, and pursuing meaningful reforms that improve lives.

She is a mentor, a collaborator, and a tireless champion for Wyoming’s youth. Through her resilience and unwavering commitment to service, Nicole truly embodies the spirit of being "boots on the ground."
