Wyoming 2-1-1, Inc. Wyoming 2-1-1 is a statewide helpline and website which provides free, confidential health and human services information and referral.

Wyoming 2-1-1 is a nonprofit which helps residents navigate over 2,500 programs providing essential services—from finding food and shelter to securing adequate care for a child or an aging parent. We're a small nonprofit, funded mainly through grants and donations, with an enormous reach and an enormous heart. Launched in 2011, Wyoming 2-1-1 is the only comprehensive statewide provider of informat

ion and referral for Wyomingites, working with over 880 agencies and nonprofits. Our mission is to provide comprehensive information and referrals regarding Wyoming health and human services and to assist Wyoming communities with disaster preparedness and response.

Have you checked your SUN Bucks status?

Eligible children can receive a one-time summer food benefit to help families purchase groceries while school is out.

Many children who receive free or reduced-price school meals or whose households participate in SNAP may be automatically enrolled, but it's always a good idea to verify your enrollment and mailing address with DFS.

Getting to an appointment shouldn't be a barrier to receiving care or services.

Through Ride United Transportation Access (RUTA), eligible Wyoming residents may be able to receive free transportation to healthcare and human services appointments in select counties.

If transportation is keeping you from getting the support you need, Wyoming 211 may be able to help connect you with available options.

Please note: RUTA rides can only be scheduled through Wyoming 211 and are not available through the Lyft app.

SUN Bucks is a seasonal summer food program, and during summer 2026, each approved child will receive a one-time, $120 food benefit.

Not sure if you are eligible or enrolled? Contact the DFS office to check! SNAP and free/reduced lunch families should automatically be enrolled with the address on file.

Benefits expire after 121 days, and we recommend subscribing to the DFS newsletter to stay up to date!

➡Veteran callers can be connected with local Service Officers who can provide information about state and federal benefits.

➡The Rural Veterans Health Access Program
(RVHAP) arms healthcare providers with tools and information to help them work with the VA, understand veteran culture, and implement telehealth.

➡Our community agencies provide services to Veterans experiencing homelessness. No man or woman who served their country should be without a safe place to rest his or her head.
