The documentary "She Cried That Day" is coming to the Wyoming International Film Festival. The documentary follows the family of Dione Thomas as they fight for answers after her murder in 2015, centering the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Relatives (MMIWR) crisis through an intimate, human lens. This isn't a film about statistics — it's about what it looks like when a family must fight for justice for their loved one, and when the systems around them fall short. She Cried That Day won Best Feature Documentary at the Bend Film Festival, and was featured on The Kelly Clarkson Show.
