Wyoming continues to lead the nation in Adult Education outcomes — and the numbers speak for themselves.

The U.S. Office of Career and Technical Education has released its FY2025 performance rankings, and Wyoming once again stands among the top programs in the country:

🔹 #1 in credential attainment — 84.01% (national median: 38.46%)
🔹 #2 in co‑enrollment — 38.72% (national median: 8.96%)
🔹 #3 in measurable skill gains — 71.49% (national median: 51.69%)
🔹 #3 in employment outcomes — more than 60% employed in both Q2 and Q4 after exit

These results reflect the dedication of Adult Education professionals across our community colleges and the determination of Wyoming learners building brighter futures.

As the Chairman of the Wyoming Community College Commission Gregg Blikre shared, “Adult Education, Wyoming style, is truly meeting a vital need for our residents and industries, and deserves to be celebrated.”

We couldn’t agree more.

Congratulations, Jonathan!

What happens when education meets opportunity?

Real impact, right here in Wyoming.

Community college graduates working in our state contributed $935.9 million in income in a single year. That’s not just a number, it’s lives changed and futures built.

“I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Western Wyoming Community College. The campus is fantastic and the professors truly care about their students. It took me years to figure out what I wanted to do, but Western ultimately set me on the right path to my career in physical therapy. It is the perfect school to aid in transitioning from a high school to college level student. I would not be where I am today if I had not stepped through those doors.”
— Jonathan Jenkins, Associate of Science in General Education, Doctor of Physical Therapy, Physical Therapist

At Western, this is the work. This is the outcome.

Proud to see how community colleges like Western Wyoming Community College help students turn their goals into reality. Way to go, Justin!

Western gave Justin Flores the support he needed to build his future. Now, he’s brought that future home.

Community colleges don’t just educate, they drive our workforce. Across the country, they train students for high-demand careers in health care, manufacturing, cybersecurity, education, and more. In fact, community colleges serve nearly 44% of all undergraduate students in the U.S. according to www.ed.gov.

“Western had given me a place to see what my future could look like. Becoming a Financial Advisor was made more realistic from the great support and guidance of the professors and advisors. Professor Forbes would take the time after class to chat with me and others on different topics, allowing us to get a glimpse outside of academia and into the real world. That is why after I started my practice, I knew I had to bring it home to Sweetwater County, the place that has helped mold me. I am always going to be proud to call myself a Mustang.”
- Justin Flores, Associate of Science in Business Administration Graduate, Financial Advisor.

Wyoming’s community colleges do more than educate, they fuel opportunity, strengthen communities, and drive real economic impact across the state. Western students are a powerful part of that story.

Each year, Wyoming’s community colleges leave a huge mark on our economy, contributing $1.1 billion, or 2.4% of the state’s total economy. Behind that number are students, graduates, and communities growing stronger across Wyoming.

Western students contribute to this success.

Wyoming workers powering Wyoming and beyond!

Tonight, humans go back to the Moon. 🌙🚀

NASA's Artemis II launches TODAY from Kennedy Space Center — the first crewed mission beyond low Earth orbit since Apollo 17 in 1972. Four astronauts will make a 10-day journey around the Moon and back, making history every mile of the way.

We're incredibly proud to share that L&H Industrial has played a direct role in making this mission possible.

Our team — right here in Gillette, Wyoming — was trusted by NASA for two critical projects at Kennedy Space Center:

**1. Upgrading the Crawler-Transporter 2**
This is the massive machine that carries the rocket from the assembly building to the launch pad. L&H manufactured over 1,300 precision components and rebuilt all 16 gearboxes to increase its payload by 6 million pounds. Those parts are underneath tonight's rocket right now.

**2. Manufacturing the Flame Deflector Cladding Plates for Pad 39B**
When Artemis I's launch damaged the flame deflector system, NASA called on L&H to manufacture stronger, more durable cladding plates to protect the pad at liftoff. Tonight, that structure takes on nearly 9 million pounds of thrust.

From a machine shop in Wyoming to a launch pad in Florida — we are proud that the quality and character of our people helped pave the way for one of the greatest moments in space exploration history.

**Tune in tonight and watch history happen.**
📺 Watch live starting at 12:50 p.m. EDT: https://go.nasa.gov/4bZGjm1
🚀 Liftoff no earlier than 6:24 p.m. EDT
