As summer winds down, things are only speeding up here at the Council! Our team has been hard at work preparing for the upcoming Wyoming Developmental Disabilities Conference—flip to page 4 for registration details.

Great ideas don't always start with a big organization—they often begin with one person who sees a need and decides to make a difference. The Bright Idea Grant exists to help turn those ideas into meaningful change across Wyoming.

We are excited to host Adaptive Adventures' 5th annual Multi-Sport Day at Curt Gowdy State Park! The Multi-Sport Day is an event dedicated to showcasing accessible resources and equipment in the outdoors, as well as building community for those with accessibility needs. Starting at 10AM, Adaptive Adventures will have accessible bikes, climbing equipment, and kayaks available for folks to try out at the Silver Crown Campground and Granite Springs Boat Ramp. A vendor fair will occur throughout the event with resources and vendors available until 2PM, and a picnic lunch will be offered at 12PM - this meal will be free and open to all. Fees are waived for all participants at this event. We hope to see you there!
